Monday October 19, 2009
8-11:30am
Newell Simon Hall 1507

“CONNECT with SBIR/STTR Program Managers” is an opportunity to learn from program managers at the National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) what they look for in an application, proposal dos and don’ts, and tips to improve your chances of success to receive an award. Two regional companies that have received SBIR grant funding from the NSF and NIH will share their insights and perspectives.

Potential applicants will also have an opportunity to meet privately one-on-one with the NSF and NIH program managers by appointment following the presentations.

“CONNECT with SBIR/STTR Program Managers” is sponsored by: Carnegie Mellon University’s Project Olympus, Center for Technology Transfer and Enterprise Creation, and the Don Jones Center for Entrepreneurship, the University of Pittsburgh’s Office of Enterprise Development, Office of Technology Management, and Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence.
